Quiet Moments is offering an introductory special of a 70-minute therapeutic massage for $45.00.   This special is valid towards your first session. 

The 70 minute massage will usually begin with the client selecting the scented oil they wish used to enhance their massage session. It might be a single note essential oil such as lavender or vetiver, both known for their ability to relax, or perhaps a blend of lemongrass/lavender/basil. or honeysuckle/grapefruit. An unscented oil can be used if a client prefers.

A client may choose to enjoy a traditional Swedish massage, with its firm yet gentle and relaxing flowing effleurage strokes towards the heart to warm the muscles and petrissage and friction to increase circulation and lymph flow and help decrease adhesions. Swedish massage will help activate the parasympathetic nervous system. What a lovely way to escape from every day pressures.

A client may want an integrating massage, combining the lighter and relaxing strokes of swedish as well as the slow deeper strokes that utilize hands, forearms, fists and knucles to help relieve tension in the deeper muscle tissue.
